She Said Yes – A Houston Proposal – Two Hearts Studios

When you hear or witness that someone is getting engaged, you instantly get excited, right? I know I do! That’s why on today’s blog, we wanted to share some of our favorite images from a session with a couple who just recently got engaged – and we got to be there to capture it!

As you can probably tell, we love capturing proposals! Joe contacted us a few weeks ago, after reading our proposal photography blog, letting us know that he was planning to propose to his beautiful girlfriend, Betsy. We were instantly on board to help him make his Houston proposal perfect!

It was a beautiful (and only slightly hot) Saturday morning and Joe and Betsy arrive at The Kitchen at Dunlavy in Downtown Houston for an unexpected stop. He dropped to one knee and popped the question to his high school sweetheart near the bayou and she excitedly said yes! Then, of course, everyone in line at the restaurant cheered!

We then spent some time together so they could soak up the moment and get some incredibly sweet photos of the two of them. We walked around the bayou and then to a bridge where we could see the Downtown skyline through the trees! How great is that? I’ve gotta say – Houston has got to be one of the best spots for photo sessions and I’m happy that Joe popped the questions at this hidden gem – it’s safe to say that its a spot we will keep in our arsenal.
