Looking And Feeling Your Best For Your Engagement Photography Session
Two Hearts Photography and Films
As Houston engagement photographers, making our couples feel comfortable in front of the camera is top priority for us – especially during something as important as engagement photography session. We love what we do and we want that to reflect in our work. We also want that to reflect how our time is spent with our clients. With that, we want to help you throughout your whole photography experience. And that includes today’s blog post.
Today, we share 3 tips on how to look and feel your best for your engagement photography session.
1.) Dress accordingly.
Your engagement photography session gives you and your fiancé the opportunity to showcase your amazing sense of style. Most photographers will allot 2 outfit choices during your session – one dressy, one that’s more casual. We all have that favorite dress or that favorite pair of jeans that make us feel like a million bucks. Find a complimenting outfit to coordinate with your fiancé for the most consistent photos. See today’s featured images and our engagement gallery to see what our past couples have done during their sessions!
*Pro Tip: Make sure your clothes are comfortable! Don’t wear a shirt that you feel like you have to pull down constantly!
2.) Professional hair and make up.
Having your hair and make up done for your engagement photography session is so important. With a wide array of creatives in Houston, there are a lot of incredibly talented and professional hair and make up artists all over the city that would LOVE to work with you and make you feel even more awesome than you already are for your engagement photos!
*Pro Tip: Don’t forget about the bling! Your ring will be a main focal point during some of the session. Make sure it’s all shiny and maybe even treat you and your fiancé to a nice mani/pedi before your engagement photos!
3.) Rest well the day of or before.
Everyone’s schedule is different and sometimes engagement photography sessions happen after work or maybe even on a Saturday after a long week. And that’s okay! Just make sure that the day before or if at all possible, the day of, that you prioritize getting a little extra rest in. (Maybe going to bed an hour earlier.) It’s amazing what it could do for your attitude and skin!
